(no subject)

I'm debating joining the "Curves". I'm indecisive at the best of times, but this is ridiculous.

Pro: Location. This is the closest gym to my home. Less than 10 minute drive, and on the way to pretty much everything.

Con: No showers. So going there on the way to work for instance is not exactly appropriate.

Pro: The music is a blast. "I will survive" was a highlight of the half hour I spent there.

Con: The workout is not exactly lame, but close. I guess I'm not as overweight and out of shape as I thought I was.

Pro: Flexible schedule while maintaining organized structure. This is a big draw. I don't have to worry about class schedules and still it's not as boring as a threadmill.

Con: A fee upfront and commitment for a year of payments. I'm afraid I'll get bored out of my wits and stop going, and still be stuck with payments. I'd hate that.

Pro: $30 off with my insurance card. A nice touch.

Yes, it's a lame workout. But a lame workout is better than no workout at all. And can't fit a normal gym into my idiotic schedule. Even if there was one close enough, which there isn't. The classes tend to cater to more or less normal people, and classes are what I like best.
